研究活動を開始しました。
地熱ワークショップをエルサルバドル大学で開催しました。
共同の現地地質調査・試料採取を実施しました。
10～11月
地熱スクール（ベーシックコース）を東北大学、岩手大学，産総研福島再生可能エネルギー研究所，地熱エンジニアリング(株)にて開催しました（エルサルバドルからの参加者5名）。
11月
合同調整委員会（JCC）を開催しました。
3月
XRD（X線回折装置）をUESに設置しました。

2019年度

5月
エルサルバドルより研究者3名が来日し，研究打合せ・ディスカッションを行いました。
6月
現地で共同の地質調査・試料採取を実施しました。
8月
ICP 発光分光分析装置（ICP-OES）をUESに設置しました。
機材贈呈式がエルサルバドル大学で開催されました。
地熱ワークショップをエルサルバドル大学で開催しました。

9～12月
地熱スクール（アドバンストコース）を東北大学，岩手大学，産総研福島再生可能エネルギー研究所，地熱エンジニアリング(株)　において開催しました（エルサルバドルからの参加者6名）。
10月
エルサルバドルより研究者2名が来日しました。（研究打合せ・ディスカッション）
土屋範芳教授がエルサルバドルの地熱エネルギー開発への貢献に対して，国営地熱会社LaGeoより VICTOR DE SOLA賞を授与されました。
11月
UES研究代表者であるエドガー・ペーニャ建築工学部長とLaGeoのマイノール・ヒル社長が東北大学大学院環境科学研究科とエルサルバドル大学建築工学部との学術協定調印式と地熱学会出席のために来日しました。
1月
熱発光測定装置をUESに設置しました。

2020年度

10月
COVID-19の影響で開催を延期していた合同調整委員会（JCC）をオンラインで開催しました。
11月
岩石カッター，研磨機，偏光顕微鏡などの機材がエルサルバドル大学へ到着しました。
2月
日本側研究者の渡航ができないため，エルサルバドル側研究者チームのみによる現地地質調査・試料採取を実施しました。
3月
駐日エルサルバドル大使，ディエゴ・アレハンドロ・ダルトン氏を土屋研究リーダー並びに本学留学生を代表してホセ・アニバル・エラソ・コルネホ氏（博士課程2年）が表敬訪問しました。
合同調整委員会（JCC）をオンラインで開催しました。

2021年度

4月
ガラスビード作製装置，ビデオ会議システムなどの機材がUESへ到着しました。
8月
地熱ワークショップをオンラインにて開催しました（参加者45名）。
TL分光装置がエルサルバドル大学（UES）へ到着しました。また，地熱貯留層内の流動計算ソフトがUESへ供与されました。
9～11月
地熱スクールをオンラインにて開催しました（エルサルバドルからの参加者5名）。
3月
合同調整委員会（JCC）を開催しました。

2022年度

6月
約3年ぶりに共同で地質調査・試料採取を実施しました。
8月
3年ぶりに対面での地熱ワークショップをエルサルバドル大学にて開催しました（参加者29名）。
共同での地質調査・試料採取を実施しました。
9～11月
地熱スクールを東北大学，岩手大学，地熱エンジニアリング(株)　にて開催しました（エルサルバドルからの参加者5名）。
11月
エルサルバドルより研究者5名が来日し，QGISデータベースに関する議論を行いました。
UES研究代表者であるエドガー・ペーニャ建築工学部長、LaGeoのマイノール・ヒル社長，マルレネ・ジャミレ・エリアス・デ・クアン ジェネラルマネージャが地熱スクール成果報告会並びに会議出席のために来日しました。
