On November 23, the University of El Salvador (UES) has held a ceremony for the completion of the geological laboratory. From JICA, Mr. Masaru Kozono, the Chief Representative of the JICA El Salvador office, has attended. Equipment provided by Japan is installed in this geological laboratory, and it is expected that these will be utilized for the research activities. Prof. Tsuchiya has sent a video message for this ceremony.
And the same day, UES and LaGeo signed a memorandum of understanding on LaGeo-UES mutual cooperation for the future plan to establish a Master’s Course of Geology in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
