From August 24 to 29, the first face-to-face Geothermal Workshop in three years was held with COVID-19 infection control measures at the University of El Salvador.

Professor Tsuchiya gave lectures on seven themes “Introduction of Geothermics & Geothermal Energy”, “Subduction Zone and Geothermal System”, “Thermoluminescence Geothermal Exploration”, and so on. The lecturers from UES and LaGeo also gave lectures, and the demo analysis using the instruments donated from Japan was conducted.

Twenty-nine participants attended this workshop and had lively question-and-answer sessions.
