The University of El Salvador held internal elections in October and Ing. Juan Rosa Quintanilla was elected as its new rector. In response, SATRAPS Japanese side researchers (Leader: Visiting Prof. Noriyoshi Tsuchiya) paid a courtesy visit to Rector Quintanilla on December 8th.
Rector Quintanilla expressed his appreciation for the Japanese contribution to the project, including human resource development, and expressed his continued support for the project.
