Salvadoran research members, Mr. Luis Barrera (UES, Dean), Mr. Jonathan Argueta (UES, Engineer), Mr. Carlos Pullinger (LaGeo, Chief of Exploration), and Mr. Marvyn Garcia (LaGeo, Geologist) visited Japan from May 14th to 18th.

Traveling members made a courtesy call to JICA Headquarters on the 15th. In Sendai, the members visited the lab at Tohoku University and discussed the Project Completion Report and narrowing down the geothermal potential areas in El Salvador.

Although the trip was short, many fruitful exchanges of information and opinions took place.
