We have organized International Workshop on WATER DYANMICS since 2004, and it had been financially supported by COE (2004-2008) and Global COE (“Global Education and Research Center for Earth and Planetary Dynamics” 2009-2013) and related program (International Graduate School program 2015- )
The Workshop will review the fundamental properties and reactivity of WATER, which means not only pure water but also multicomponent geofluids, and the workshop involves the role of carbon in the Earth’s interior for dynamics and evolution of the Earth System. Additionally environmental geology is important field for future Earth and human beings.
In 2017, we organized joint symposium of WATER DYNAMICS and Metamorphics Symposium.

We move to Oosawa Onsen (Japanese Style Hot Spring in country side)(18-20 March) Joint together with Metamorphics and Others Symposium.
14th International Workshop on WATER DYNAMICS focuses on ‘GEOFLUIDS’ (genesis, reactions, transport, and reserve) in the Earth’s crust. We also would like to discuss on deep metamorphic fluids and relatively shallow geothermal fluids, which means entire and ultimate geological images of geofluid in the crust.
We are conducting supercritical geothermal research. Water Dynamics covers geothermal energy system of the Earth.
Environmental Geology, involving soil and water pollution, is current big issues for human beings and society. Water Dynamics could cover entire range of environmental Earth Science.
